John Joseph Welsh (born 10 January 1984 in Liverpool) is an English footballer who plays as midfielder for Atherton Collieries. He was captain of the England under-20 team, and has been capped eight times for the under-21s. He represented England U20 at 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship.
