Rafael Jodar and Alexander Bublik open the night session on Day 1 of the 2026 Laver Cup in London, bringing together two very different styles in their first career meeting. Jodar arrives as one of the fastest-rising players on the ATP Tour, having climbed into the world’s top 15 after a breakthrough season highlighted by his first tour-level title in Marrakech. Bublik, meanwhile, brings far greater experience, a career-high top-10 ranking and an unpredictable game built around a powerful serve, aggressive shot-making and constant variation. With both players making their Laver Cup debuts, the matchup offers Team Europe and Team World a valuable opportunity to seize momentum at the start of the evening session.
