Ash Sutton took a dominant victory in Race 2 (Round 23) of the 2026 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) at Croft Circuit on 6 September 2026. Driving his NAPA Racing UK Ford Focus Titanium, Sutton started behind pole-sitter Josh Cook. Despite being on the slower, mandatory Goodyear hard tyre compound and running minimal turbo boost, Sutton pulled off a stunning move around the outside of Cook at Tower on the opening lap to take a lead he would not relinquish. The victory marked his 55th career BTCC win, moving him fifth on the all-time wins list.
