The No. 16 ARTA Mugen HRC Prelude-GT, driven by Tomoki Nojiri and Ren Sato, won the 2026 Suzuka GT 300km race on Sunday, 23 August 2026. This thrilling victory capped off Round 5 of the 2026 Autobacs Super GT Series and led an incredible 1-2-3 podium sweep for Honda. Honda completely ruled the weekend at Suzuka Circuit. They took the top four spots in Saturday's qualifying sessions and turned it into a full podium lockout during Sunday's main event. The No. 17 Astemo Real Racing Honda took pole position on Saturday. Rookie driver Yuto Nomura made history by becoming the youngest GT500 pole-sitter ever at just 20 years old.
