Ash Sutton won Race 2 at Knockhill for the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) The NAPA Racing UK Ford driver capitalized on a soft-tyre strategy to charge through the field, overtaking Plato Racing Mercedes driver Dan Rowbottom at the final hairpin on Lap 11 to secure the victory. Championship Drama: Sutton's main title rival, Tom Ingram, suffered front-end radiator damage early in the race after colliding with Gordon Shedden. Ingram was forced to retire, dealing a massive blow to his championship campaign.
