Ash Sutton won Race 2 (Round 14) of the 2026 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) at Thruxton. Driving his NAPA Racing UK Ford Focus, Sutton overtook pole-sitter Josh Cook on the opening laps to extend his lead in the drivers' championship. Though his start was initially placed under investigation by the stewards, it was ultimately ruled that no further action would be taken. The provisional podium was altered post-race by a one-place penalty handed to Josh Cook for cutting the chicane exit to pass Dan Cammish, which promoted Cammish into second and created a NAPA Racing UK 1-2 finish. Tom Ingram also received a 10-second track-limits penalty that dropped him to fifth.
