Will Brown won Race 27 of the 2026 Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440. Driving the #888 Ford for Red Bull Ampol, he broke a 12-month winning drought in an exciting final sprint to the finish line. The race featured a wild final sprint following a safety car restart. Will Brown made a masterful, decisive passing move on rookie Kai Allen to take the lead late in the race. While Matt Payne started on pole position, he faded through the pack during the late-race chaos to salvage a sixth-place finish.
