The Mopani Zambia Open is a premier professional golf tournament on the Sunshine Tour. The 2026 championship takes place from June 11th to 14th, 2026, at the historic Nkana Golf Club in Kitwe, Zambia. The tournament has a rich history dating back to its inclusion on the Sunshine Tour in 1996. While historically rotated among venues like the Lusaka Golf Club, the iconic Nkana Golf Club (established in 1930) has become its modern home. The most recent edition concluded on 14 June 2026. It delivered a highly competitive, demanding four days of golf on a firm, challenging course setup. The Champion: Zimbabwean golfer Stuart Krog clinched his maiden Sunshine Tour title by a single shot. The Winning Comeback: Krog pulled off a dramatic turnaround. He opened the week tied for 68th after shooting a 76. He surged on the final day, rolling in seven birdies to post a 5-under-par total (283).
