Iker Lecuona won the 10-lap WSBK Tissot Superpole Race at the Cremona Circuit during the EICMA Italian Round. Riding for Aruba.it Racing - Ducati, Lecuona resisted a tyre-gamble challenge from his teammate Nicòlo Bulega to take back-to-back victories over the weekend. Meanwhile, Italian rookie Alberto Surra earned his first-ever World Superbike podium by finishing third. Nicòlo Bulega set a new race lap record with a time of 1'27.783s on Lap 2.
