Nicolò Bulega claimed a commanding victory in the 2026 WorldSBK Acerbis French Round Tissot Superpole Race at the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours. The championship leader took the holeshot but faced intense early pressure from his Aruba.it Racing – Ducati teammate, Iker Lecuona. Lecuona initially took the lead at Turn 5, but Bulega fought back on Lap 3. The turning point came when Lecuona out-braked himself trying to make another move up the inside, forcing himself wide onto the hard-standing runoff area. This allowed Bulega to build a comfortable margin and break away for his 25th victory of the 2026 campaign Lecuona quickly recovered from the mistake to regain second position from Sam Lowes, who later crashed out on the final lap.
