The Tokyo ePrix is a race of the FIA Formula E World Championship, an all-electric single-seater racing series. The race was held for the first time at the Tokyo Street Circuit on 30 March 2024. Dan Ticktum won the opening race (Round 14) of the 2026 Tokyo ePrix double-header on Saturday, 25 July 2026, pulling off a spectacular last-lap overtake on polesitter Jake Dennis. The opening race featured late drama when Jake Dennis suffered an energy cut at Turn 16 on the final lap, allowing Cupra Kiro's Dan Ticktum to steal the victory. Meanwhile, championship leader Pascal Wehrlein retired following a collision, shaking up the title standings. The event marks Formula E's first-ever nighttime double-header, taking place under the floodlights at the modified 2.575km street circuit wrapping around the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition centre.
