Noel León won the inaugural 2026 Formula 2 Sprint Race in Montréal for Campos Racing. The action-packed 28-lap race took place at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve from 22–24 May 2026. It marked the first time the junior category ever raced in North America. Mexican driver Noel León recovered from an early collision with Joshua Duerksen. He passed pole-sitter Gabriele Minì after a mid-race safety car restart to cross the line 3.7 seconds clear of the field. This marked his maiden FIA Formula 2 victory.
