Kush Maini claimed a dominant victory in the 2026 FIA Formula 2 Barcelona Sprint Race, taking his first win of the season for ART Grand Prix. Maini launched from P2 on the grid, immediately grabbed the lead into the opening stretch, and built a massive gap to take the chequered flag 7.2 seconds ahead of his closest pursuer. Gabriele Minì (P2): The championship leader fought through the pack from P7 on the grid. He secured second after a fierce battle and slight contact at Turn 1 with his title rival. Nikola Tsolov, the Campos Racing driver rounded out the podium despite sustaining front wing endplate damage during his defensive duel with Minì.
