12 July 2026 – Malemort to Ussel, 155.5 km (96.6 mi) Stage winner Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin–Premier Tech), pictured before stage 5 The ninth stage of the race headed north-east from Malemort to Ussel, with a hilly route in the Massif Central. The stage had four categorised climbs (one second-category, two third-category and one fourth-category). The stage was originally scheduled to be contested over 185.5 km (115.3 mi) but due to a red heatwave warning issued for the Corrèze department, the stage was shortened by 30 km (19 mi); neither start or finish location was altered.
