Pato O'Ward won the 2026 Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio on Sunday, July 5, 2026. He took his first win of the season and the 10th of his career after passing teammate Christian Lundgaard near the halfway mark of the 90-lap race. The victory marked Arrow McLaren’s first-ever 1-2 finish in team history. Christian Lundgaard started on the pole and led early. On lap 42, Lundgaard got caught in lap traffic and went wide into the loose track debris ("the marbles"). O’Ward pulled alongside, the teammates lightly rubbed wheels, and O'Ward completed the pass to stay ahead until the checkered flag.
