Scott Redding won the dramatic and incident-packed Race 2 of the 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship at Snetterton on Sunday, 5 July 2026. Driving for the Hager PBM Racing Team, Redding crossed the finish line safely ahead of the chaos unfolding behind him. Opening Lap Crash: A massive pile-up at Turn 2 on the very first lap took out top contenders Leon Haslam, Josh Brookes, and Ilya Mikhalchik, triggering an early BMW Safety Car period. The Big Collision: On lap 10, a fierce battle for second place resulted in high-speed contact between Kyle Ryde and Bradley Ray at Riches corner. Ray crashed out heavily, while Ryde stayed on his bike but was handed a 3-second time penalty. : Because Kyle Ryde did not take his long lap penalty on the track, the 3-second penalty was added to his total time after the chequered flag. This demoted Ryde from second down to third, handing the runner-up spot to Max Cook.
