9 July 2026 – Pau to Gavarnie-Gèdre, 186.2 km (115.7 mi) The sixth stage takes the riders back into the Pyrenees, with a 186.2 km (115.7 mi) mountain stage from Pau to Gavarnie-Gèdre, with five categorised climbs including the first-category Col d'Aspin (12 km at an average gradient of 6.5%), the hors catégorie climb of Col du Tourmalet (17.1 km at an average gradient of 7.3%, with the summit at an elevation of 2,115 m (6,939 ft)), before a summit finish at the second-category climb to Gavarnie-Gèdre (18.7 km at an average gradient of 3.7%).
