The Spanish motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the FIM Grand Prix motorcycle racing season that takes place at Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto outside Jerez de la Frontera in Andalucia. In addition to this event, three other World Championship motorcycling events take place in Spain as of the 2024 season: the Catalan motorcycle Grand Prix, the Aragon motorcycle Grand Prix and the Valencian Community motorcycle Grand Prix, in the autonomous communities of Catalonia, Aragon and Valencia respectively. Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto is due to host three Grands Prix in 2022, 2023 and 2025. Álex Márquez won the 2026 Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez, securing back-to-back home victories at the circuit. He finished 1.903 seconds ahead of championship leader Marco Bezzecchi, who ended his record-breaking five-race winning streak with a P2 finish. The race saw major drama early on when pole-sitter Marc Márquez crashed out of second place on Lap 2 while attempting to chase his brother, Álex. Reigning champion Francesco Bagnaia also suffered a difficult weekend, retiring from the race with a bike issue.
