The Hungarian motorcycle Grand Prix is a motorcycling event that is part of the Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Championship. The event is scheduled to return to the calendar in 2025. In September 2023, it was revealed that Balaton Park Circuit will be planned to be included in the Superbike World Championship in 2024, and it will be also the reserve venue of MotoGP World Championship in the same year before the return of Hungarian motorcycle Grand Prix to Hungaroring in 2025. Instead of Hungaroring, Balaton Park will be included in the calendar to host the MotoGP in August 2025. The 2026 Hungarian motorcycle Grand Prix concluded on 7 June 2026 at the Balaton Park Circuit, with Marc Márquez taking a historic victory. Serving as the 8th round of the 2026 MotoGP season, the race weekend was dominated by Marc Márquez, who achieved a legendary 100th career Grand Prix victory. Marquez took pole position, won Saturday's Tissot Sprint, and claimed the Sunday Grand Prix. The main race opened with major Turn 1 drama when Jorge Martín lost control under braking, causing a massive crash that took out several front-runners, including title leader Marco Bezzecchi.
