Francesco "Pecco" Bagnaia won the 2026 MotoGP Czech Sprint Race at the Brno Circuit on Saturday, 20 June 2026. It marked his first race victory of the 2026 season.Bagnaia took a tactical gamble by running a soft rear tyre, leading every lap from the front row to narrowly defeat pole-sitter Ai Ogura by 0.241 seconds. Marc Márquez joined them on the podium in third place. Bezzecchi's Crash and Suspension: Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi was running in fifth place when he crashed out at Turn 3 on the penultimate lap. Infuriated in the gravel trap, Bezzecchi shoved and slapped a track marshal who accidentally revved his bike's throttle while trying to recover it. MotoGP stewards subsequently banned Bezzecchi from Sunday's main Grand Prix race.
