Marc Márquez won the 2026 German MotoGP Sprint Race at the Sachsenring. Starting from pole position after breaking the all-time lap record in qualifying, the factory Ducati Lenovo rider led all 15 laps from start to finish. Márquez successfully converted his pole position into an immediate holeshot at the start, navigating the debut of MotoGP's updated 4-metre grid spacing regulation. He faced intense pressure throughout the short race from his younger brother, Álex Márquez, who finished an impressive second on his Gresini Ducati. Fabio Di Giannantonio completed an all-Ducati podium in third place.
