Malaysian rider Hakim Danish claimed a sensational maiden world championship victory at the 2026 Moto3 Czech Grand Prix held at the CREDITAS Autodrom Brno. Despite serving an overnight grid penalty that demoted him to 14th on the grid, Danish mounted a massive comeback and capitalised on a dramatic final-lap collision between frontrunners Maximo Quiles and Brian Uriarte to seal the win. The Final Lap Showdown: Maximo Quiles led for the majority of the race. On the final lap, a heavy lunging move at Turn 9 caused Quiles and Brian Uriarte to make contact. This forced Uriarte briefly onto the grass and opened the door for Danish to sweep past both of them to take the checkered flag.
