Izan Guevara won the 2026 Moto2 French Grand Prix at the Le Mans Bugatti Circuit on 10 May 2026, capturing his first victory of the season. Driving for the Blu Cru Pramac Yamaha Moto2 team, Guevara dominated the entire weekend by breaking the lap record in qualifying to take pole position.The race was highly chaotic due to weather delays and a heavy crash by Jorge Navarro on lap three, which brought out a red flag. The race restarted as a shortened 9-lap sprint. Guevara controlled the restart perfectly, leaving Manuel Gonzalez and Ivan Ortola to finish behind him on the podium. Daniel Holgado, who initially finished 11th, was later disqualified for technical non-compliance after his bike lost its front fender.
