Manuel González took a dominant victory in the 2026 Moto2 Hungarian Grand Prix at the Balaton Park Circuit. The race was held on Sunday, 7 June 2026. It marked González's fourth victory of the season and his third consecutive win. González trailed Filip Salač for the first half of the 22-lap race. He made his decisive move to the front on Lap 12. Salač stayed within reach until González broke away with three laps remaining, securing the win by over a second. Senna Agius and David Alonso battled heavily for the final podium spot late in the race, with Agius successfully defending his position to finish third. Pole-sitter Izan Guevara, who secured an unexpected pole position on Saturday despite earlier braking issues, ultimately crossed the finish line in sixth place.
