Ivan Ortolá won the 2026 Moto2 Czech Grand Prix at the Automotodrom Brno on Sunday, 21 June 2026, delivering a sensational last-corner, last-lap overtake to secure his maiden victory in the intermediate class. The Winning Move: Riding for QJMotor - Exocom - MSI, Ivan Ortolá served a long lap penalty early on but rapidly closed a gap of over a second to sit directly on the rear wheel of David Alonso. On the final corner of the very last lap, Ortolá made his decisive dive down the inside to clinch the win.Heartbreak for Alonso: Polesitter David Alonso, who set a new all-time lap record during qualifying, led the first 17 of the 18 laps but was left with no room to respond at the final turn, finishing in second place. Home Podium: Czech rider Filip Salač sent the local fans into a frenzy with a brilliant double overtake through the stadium section, holding on to finish third.
