Iván Ortolá won the 2026 Moto2 German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring after starting from pole position and fending off a fierce final-lap attack from Daniel Holgado. The race was held on Sunday, 12 July 2026. Ortolá, riding for QJMotor MSi, set a blistering pace all weekend, breaking the all-time intermediate class lap record during qualifying with a 1:21.493. During the race, he managed his rear tyre wear to perfection while holding defensive lines at the Omega section and final corner, securing his second victory of the season. Daniel Holgado finished a close second (+0.614s), with Izan Guevara taking a lonely third place to round out an all-Spanish podium.
